Can a conservative minded head provide the TOP dates when "So Many Roads" was played. The song broke in '92? and I'm trying to find a date that I had a copy of at one time but since have lost. I know that there is an excellent TJ and LLR that accompanied the song during the run or possibly the same show.

I would also like a dates for top LAZY RIVER ROAD and 1987-95 TENNESSEE JED'S that tickle your fancy

I can't think of a show off hand with all of your requests played...to do it justice...check out 09-18-1994 second set at shoreline for the best So Many Roads...Lazy River Road go to 09-22-1993 or 08-21-1993 (one of the best SOTMs this show)...Tennessee Jed 87-on is tough...09-16-1990 is a good one with Hornsby that goes on forever...06-22-1993 is pretty good...the best Jed in case you were wondering is played 10-10-1982 Frost Stadium...late 70s - early 80s best years for TJ...

ha Ha Ha I meant this side of the 1990's Ye Ol' Codger I know I know how there was a lot of nakedness and you were like trippin' balls and Jerry knew that you knew what he knew and the walls at the Fillmore East were dripping and shit and everything was a rainbow. Yeah man, Far out! Are the Allmans coming out to play a forth set? cool. Lets go to the Be- in tomorrow at the park okay peace!

Dude I can and do enjoy primal dead on rare occasions, I can, really. And when I do you just better use Caution and don't step on the tracks because my New Potato Caboose only stops for Alligators and Saints and when the Feedback does finally end then you my Bro can tell me "Whats become of the baby"

LOL, You are a stubborn old Mule!! Give the boy his Pity and his Grief, his aging stardom and his broken voiced Superstar.

Anyway, if you want epic Garcia Wailings on Lost Causes and Lost Love Jazz out to this Comes A Time with an Out-Jam that explores the deeper regions of Soul:

spikedriver: Jerry was in a special place on the evening of Oct. 1, 1994 [Boston, MA] --- as the song progresses, he changes the lyrics to "So many roads to HEAL my soul..."

Here is just one link on this site:
http://www.archive.org/details/gd94-10-01.pmb.pujol.15079.sbeok.shnf

[Note: The second set is mislabeled with a "St. Stephen" before "Terrapin" It is actually "Saint of Circumstance."] The "Stella Blue" is really sweet as well.

Another stellar version was two weeks earlier, 1994-09-18:

Enjoy your search.

Me either, shame on us!

“ Thought I heard a blackbird singing up on Bluebird Hill
Call me a whinin' boy if you will
Born where the sun don't shine and I don't deny my name
Got no place to go, ain't that a shame?

Thought I heard that KC whistle moaning sweet and low
Thought I heard that KC when she blow
Down where the sun don't shine underneath the Kokomo
Whinin' boy got no place to go

So many roads I tell you
So many roads I know
So many roads, so many roads
Mountain high, river wide
So many roads to ride
So many roads, so many roads

Thought I heard a jug band playin' "If you don't... who else will?"
From over on the far side of the hill
All I know the sun don't shine and the rain refused to fall
And you don't seem to hear me when I call

Wind inside and the wind outside tangled in the window blind
Tell me why you treat me so unkind
Down where the sun don't shine lonely and I call your name
No place left to go, ain't that a shame?

So many roads I tell you
New York to San Francisco
So many roads I know
All I want is one to take me home
From the high road to the low
So many roads I know
So many roads so many roads

From the land of the midnight sun where the ice blue roses grow
Along those roads of gold and silver snow
Howlin' wide or moaning low So many roads I know
So many roads to ease my soul ”
